Who is this qualification for?
This qualification is aimed at individuals who are, or intend to be, food handlers working in catering. The objective of this qualification is to prepare learners for employment in catering role, or to support a role in the workplace.
How long will it take?
The total qualification time for this qualification is 7 hours, of this 6 hours are recommended as guided learning hours.
Learners gaining this qualification will know that food safety is the responsibility of everyone involved in the storage, preparation, cooking service and handling of food.
This qualification can be assessed by a multiple-choice examination or open response workbook.
*n.b. A registration and training materials fee of £16.10 +VAT per delegate is applicable to the Level 2 Food Safety Course course, in addition to the course price.
